As a VLCFF facilitator for the past 2 years, I would add that VLCFF is a great experience of adults learning with other adults in forming online community. Course use a message board format, which means students can participate any time it is convenient for them. Students who live within the borders of a member diocese, there is a substantial discount as well. Many member dioceses also honor VLCFF courses toward catechist certification.
